8th installment of PM-KISAN Yojana of Modi released
PM KISAN Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the eighth installment of financial benefits to farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 8th installment of financial benefits to be provided under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme through video conferencing. With this, more than Rs 19 thousand crore has been transferred to more than 9.5 crore beneficiary farmer families in the country today.

PM Modi interacted with farmers

PM Modi also said that today is the auspicious festival of Akshaya Tritiya, it is time for the new cycle of agriculture to begin and today, about 19 thousand crores of rupees have been directly transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers. Its profit is about 10 crores.
PM Modi further said that today the first installment has reached the lakhs of farmers of Bengal. As the names of farmers from the states are received by the Central Government, the number of beneficiary farmers will increase. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who was present on the occasion, said that more than 7 lakh farmers of the state of West Bengal have benefited from the scheme.
On this occasion, PM Modi said that so far about 11 crore farmers of the country have reached about 1 lakh 35 thousand crore under this scheme. Of these, more than 60 thousand crore rupees have been reached only during the Corona period.
PM Modi said that this year, so far about 10% more wheat has been purchased on MSP than last year. So far, about 58,000 crore rupees of wheat procurement has reached directly in the account of farmers. He said that I am satisfied that lakhs of farmers of Punjab and Haryana are connected with this facility of direct transfer. So far, about 18,000 crore rupees have been deposited directly in the bank accounts of the farmers of Punjab and about 9,000 crore rupees directly in the bank accounts of the farmers of Haryana.
